Where is this event located?
Animal Learning Center at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa.
What should I bring?
Just like any other crop, bring your scrapbooking supplies. There are Plug Your Bug stations available if you have a Cricut machine. And bring something for the Community Snack Table.
What are the meals?
The menu will be determined at a later time and emailed out to attendees.
Do I need to be present to win prizes?
You are automatically registered for prizes when you register. Prizes are announced according a set schedule. You must be present to win the prizes.
What is the Get Inspired gift?
Each year, scrappers receive a Get Inspired gift to spark inspiration and as a token of appreciation for their attendance.
What is Plug Your Bug and Trash to Treasure?
The Plug Your Bugs are stations to plug your Cricut machine. It’s first-come, first-serve “parking”. Trash to Treasure is where you can swap out something old for something new-to-you, because one scrapper's trash is another's treasure. Both "stations" are at every Get Inspired event.
What is the seating layout like?
The tables are long, 8-foot tables. Two scrappers will be seated at each table.
How do I reserve a spot?
Scrappers must be registered and paid in full to reserve a scrapper spot. There are 300 spots available.
What is the refund policy?
There is a no refund policy. If you need help finding someone to take your spot, a name from the waiting list can be emailed to you.
Who is Minna?
Minna is the organizer of the event and hostess/announcer. She credits her incredibly supportive husband and super-sweet friends and loyal scrapbookers for being able to put on this event annually to share your love and passion for scrapbooking.
